Hi there! I’m Navid,

A UX/UI designer who greatly enjoys noticing and fixing the imperfections in everything I look at; it could include a product I’m using, a website I’m looking at, or the layout of a store I’m shopping from! The idea of finding faults and turning them into an intuitive system that facilitates the user experience thrills me, and I was lucky enough to know that such a field of study exists out there that could help me sharpen my skills in this area and also give me a great sense of achievement practicing this!

My previous study in civil engineering and eight years of hands-on experience in this field, working with customers who had a very specific idea of what could work for them, and helping them create a “home” in terms of quality, material, and aesthetics turned out to be very satisfying and helpful in shaping my interest in enhancing user experience. I also conducted quality checks for several years, which proved to be beneficial for the skills that I need as a UX designer. After years of my journey in engineering, I ended up concluding that I needed something more customer-centric, more teamwork and creative; this is how I was convinced UX design was the perfect fit for my observant eye!

When I’m not working on my projects, I listen to music, play a musical instrument, or go for a hike to recharge my batteries and renew my focus!
